Happy lunar new year!

So other than gambling and visiting, I spent my days watching Scarlet Heart 步步惊心. Was hooked to the drama and completed all 35 episodes within 4 days! Haha that's my Cny break for you.

A couple of girls asked if they could collect their items during office hours last week as they thought it was our office. But nope it's just a venue for us to hold the meetup. Hopefully we can conduct it at our office the next time. Hmm we shall see!

Happy Wednesday all! Just received a text from my eldest sister asking us to put aside N I N E pcs from tonight's launch. So touched :') She hardly gets this many from us, usually just 1 or 2 per collection. She got really excited this time after seeing the pictures from the shoot and immediately tried on every design. Fran is like our QC manager, always giving us feedback and advice on how to improve!

So my NYE was spent at Wine Bar.

No hotel stay-over this year, just a simple drinking session with the usual few :)

How time flies! We are only left with 2 days of 2011. I don't know to be happy or not because they say 2012 will be the extinction of mankind. No new year resolutions for me as usual, I never keep up with them anyway.

Yay Christmas in less than 2 weeks! But sad to say I'm all stuck here this year end with no vacations. Thanks to CNY which is arriving too soon, 3rd week of Jan?

Oh well I am sure looking forward to the short break we will be taking after all this peak period. Meanwhile we will work doubly hard for this festive season. Btw we will be having a couple of lovingly manufactured clutches for CNY too! Really excited for our CNY apparels to reach us, they are streaming in bit by bit so stay tuned :)

Oh mans who wakes up so early on a Sunday! I must be out of my mind when I chose this time slot. Will prolly just knock out while Yan mends my face.

Some behind the scene shots from the outdoor shoot last week, hmm indoor I would say since it was taken at the airport. If you saw our fb preview you'd have seen our new face, Freda. She's really stunning in real life. Huge eyes, sharp nose, glowing complexion ++ Felt so ugly standing beside her.
Oh well..

Next is the Scan-n-pay using mobile banking! I was told that Ocbc is the first to come up with this Scan-n-pay function. Simply scan the barcodes on the bills and make payments from your Ocbc Bank account. You do not have to worry about typing the wrong reference number when making payment!

Boo back to work Tuesday! So much parcels accumulated during the long weekends to pack. Planning to start our day earlier than usual but Lu is still not back home from Malacca. Hmm and I'm patiently waiting for my supper from Jb 101. Starved..

Anws we had some family time today over at ECP, picnic by the beach. Dropped my phone on the pathway while walking Taylor. How unfortunate. I shouldnt have thrown away the Hello Kitty casing even thou it was turning yellow. Good thing the camera still works fine. Anyone knows where I can fix this mess? TIA!

So last Saturday was Rainee's 21st @ Naumi. The night where we literally got chased out of the hotel. The staff just stood right at the door and refused to leave haha we had alot of fun nonetheless!

Back from Ohvola's cover shoot! As usual it was scorching hot and super tiring, thank god we dont have to do this very often. Was telling Lu we should go somewhere indoor with air-conditioning in future before Xyu and I hate outdoor shoots hah. Became much tanner again despite the massive spam of sunblock, boo!

So we will be updating with a new collection sometime this week, a night launch this time! Before I forget, really sorry but we will be blacklisting customers who back out/MIA from their buys due to the rise of deadbuyers recently. We have no choice either ): So please please only add the items to cart if youre 100% sure you're getting it.

Hi all! This post has been in my draft since forever, finally gonna post it today.

So we hope the new site has been good so far! Thou there were some hiccups during the first launch, glad all is good now. Really thankful to all the well wishes from the sweetest customers. Lu was so touched, she started forwarding all the 'blessings emails' to her personal gmail for keepsake, yes for real haha.

Before the launch some customers were asking if the site would crash, but we ourselves do not know. (glad it didnt) Thou we did purchase a dedicated server with larger bandwidth to handle the traffic. We had sleepless nights worrying if everything would be smooth, all the preparations, the canvas bags and the promotions.

I'm sure you have seen the various banners up and running on our site. Yep they are all done by Lu. Are you impressed? Because I am hah. Lu is the creative director and also my boss in Ohvola. Her workload is prolly x2 of mine. Anybody out there wanna reduce her workload? We are looking for freelance graphic designers. As long as you can do up pretty banners like what we have, drop us an email with the portfolio of your work.

Hello! Cant believe I've been blogging so diligently this month.
Heh before I start on my blog entry tonight, I would like to ask you readers to do my friend, Vincent, a favour!

Was invited to Holiday Inn Atrium for NTU HALL10 DnD last Friday. Ohvola and Access-ed were their apparels sponsor, we were also one of the judges for the pageant that night. :)

So yesterday, Mx and Lucinda brought us to their favourite, Platinum Movie Suites! It was Sean and my first time there, finally able to experience what Lu has been raving about every time she visits this place. What a luxurious 2hrs!

Thanks to that faithful accident, our insurance premium went up by $1.2k.
The claim was $3614 for that minor bump. Oh well better luck next time.

Sick Cat

My fever has been going on and off for days. Hate how I have been spending my weekends in bed. Never felt so awful like that.

Just last night, my temperature shot up to 39degrees. I had 3 wool cardigan on and covered with double blankets but I was still shivering. I looked like a zombie, yellow skin with purple veins. Sean had to use a hair dryer to keep me warm.

So glad I'm feeling better now. My mom said, last night was 七月十四 of the hungry ghost festival. Which means the 'fiercest' day of the festival. Thank god they didn't take me away.

So thankful for my family and Sean.
Time to get up and fight the sickbugs.
